A series of 4 perfectly imperfect, large, green glazed French Provençal cassoulet bowls, sourced across the South of France earlier this year. 
 
The colours are exceptional - a rainbow of greens across the group, none identical but wonderfully complimentary to one another. 19th century, these bowls were typically used to make the traditional cassoulet dish common in the region, but would also have found multiple other uses across the home.
 
In very good vintage condition - of course, bearing the chips & missing glaze as to be expected of items of this age.

This listing is for bowl 'C' which features a vibrant emerald green glossy glaze and is the widest & shallowest of the series.
