What a find. 
This spectacular 3m long dining table was sourced in Belgium and was originally used in a school. At 3 metres long, it is seriously substantial, and, even rarer & more interesting is that the table top is one single plank of wood!
 
When we found it, it was covered in paint splatters from its previous life (some artfully vintge, many more just recently old) so we made the decision to bring it fully back to its original timber form - and what a beauty we uncovered in doing so!
It still bears plenty of signs of its age & history, even a few children's initials scrated into the surface which we just love.
 
The warm blonde tone of the elm paired with simple and unfussy lines allow it to be right at home in so many aesthetics. Can seat 6 each side.
